Seasonitis

Another year, and another well gathered pile of ornaments.  It's been official for a while, but I guess you may agree following this post.  I have Seasonitis.  I spend countless hours each fall obsessing over my Christmas decorations.  Just when I think I'm in love with a room, or vignette, I come across a whole new stash of goodies I just have to include.  Well for anyone that shares my passion for the holidays, you can understand.  The constant adding and subtracting to my decoration collections sparks a domino effect across the overall theme of a room.  This year I decided to take a few snap shots of my collection before they become a themed tree.

Tree Topper(s)

So this neatly grouped Pile eventually became our Family Room Tree.  This Years Theme is "Santa Claus Is Coming  To Town"  A few years ago I printed several vintage Santa images and stitched them into these paper ornaments.  They quickly became a favorite.  The very first year I made them, I filled out a four foot tall feather tree with only handmade ornaments.  It looked lovely, but if four feet of tree looks good, wouldn't eight feet look even better?  Since this is my very first post and actually a rather spur of the moment one, I won't ramble.  But stayed tuned for more holiday inspiration here.
